Ahaha, this lovely gem. I came across this book two years ago when I was going on vacation with my husband’s family. We had a seven hour trip one way, and I was told to stock up on entertainment, lest I be bored out of my skull. I spent a liberal amount of time in the library and at our local book store to stock up for the trip.
I didn’t end up reading this one until halfway through vacation, even though I’d actually bought it in the bookstore. It really was worth the money spent. This book is bad. Hilariously so. My husband and I were helplessly giggling about every other page.
It’s a welcome break from Twilight, which takes itself too damn seriously. This book is what really made me start thinking about books critically. I have to thank this book for turning me into the snob I am today.
Well without further ado, let’s dive into the hilarity of Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea.
